Historically? Not really I've heard it was buggy and there were not linux binaries. Though they have started offering distro agnostic binaries around 2022. EGS has no native linux installer and Tim doesn't like linux.

As a Linux user maybe if you make a native app for EGS and then contribute to Linux gaming I might care about EGS.

I dunno this looks pretty much like tarkov, except cheaper and on steam.

Fallout outside the US sounds more interesting than fallout post NV imo. It kinda feels like they are worried to work on the lore because it will fall apart in Emils hands.

What an absolute mess Tarkov is, I don't believe he didn't see the backlash. You would have to not play the game and not keep up with the community to be that ignorant. But last time I checked he doesn't play the game so maybe it's both.

They just made working on Yuzu more annoying, even discord was taking stuff down. But it's not like discord alternatives like matrix don't exist. Version control even more so.

Would be hard going after devs that don't blatantly make money off it like Yuzu did. Would also be pretty hard going after anonymous devs not using US based version control or just private. Lot of countries don't care about DMCA either. Yuzu was just very stupid but Nintendo in the worst case isn't all powerful either.

I trust ESA, they said loot boxes aren't gambling, they totally care about preservation and consumers.

Not the game I would recommend to new fallout fans.

Think most people are more interested in what Larian is cooking up, the IP barely matters.
