  • Gustave's design is basically a pretty boy (Robert Pattinson) with a moustache (rugged). But he gives off the right vibe visually!

The writing and voices done for the characters was exceptional and that's what makes the biggest impact on me personably. The only gripe I have is that the lip synch for all the characters was like waaay off but that's forgivable in the context of everything else :>

  • Not knocking on Max because I'm certain he's a great driver. I think this is more indicative of red bull building cars that are specifically bespoke to Max's unique preferences. For almost every other red bull driver, handling the car is probably like wearing pants that are 3 sizes too small and trying your best not to have the ass seam split when bending over.

There are drivers like Albon who found great success when they stopped driving for Red Bull and had a chance to drive a car better suited for them.

  • Yeah... As much as I love the Doom franchise I cannot in good conscience support anything that Marty Stratton has a hand in. That douchebag screwed over Mick Gordon (the guy that did the banger soundtracks for Doom 2016 and Doom Eternal) big time.

I mean just reading this detailed account of everything that happened makes my bile rise every time.

  • Yes and always. Between learning how to reverse sear and using a meat thermometer, my steak game gained 99 levels once I had quantitative data as to the actual temperature of the meat.

I'm sure there are savants out there that can tell doneness by poke or reading thrown rat bones but most of us without a thermometer are only pretending to know and likely ruining an expensive piece of meat.

  • I love Clair Obscur: Expedition 33! Really shows how far devs with a vision can take things when unshackled from their corporate overlords.

The music is absolutely stunning and there's even a 10 minute mini documentary on how they put together the sound track that's pretty fascinating to watch!
