I dunno. I think the messaging is everywhere for how to attract men, but I don't see too much content about how to treat men either. Certainly historically that was baked into the message, pun not intended, but these days I feel like the message is "you are the table" (so long as you are attractive enough to get a date) which is in part reinforced by the validation from the dating apps women get.

My wife of 19 years still says "what are you getting me for my anniversary" and I have to remind her that it's our anniversary. Until recently my happiness hasn't really occurred to her that is something she should consider. It's all about her challenges and how I can help her, and what she wants to do, or what she wants to watch on tv. I literally am not given a second thought and told I'm wrong until she gets her way.

Ironically I'm enjoying it for the first time ever at the moment.

We were going away on holidays and would have patchy internet and I needed to make sure my iPad addicted kids has plenty of content for the the road. I decided I was too old and too busy to spend hours stealing YouTube content with shitty apps and just bit the bullet, got a VPN and signed up for a family plan of YouTube plus through Nepal for like $4 / month.

And now without ads and the bullshit I have for the first time found creators that I like, and I put on videos throughout the day. Also because it comes with music I actually use my google speaker for more than just alarms and timers because I refuse to buy Spotify.

The $4 is actually good value. I'm as surprised as the next person.

I totally agree. But without knowing a bit more about the specifics, I can't help but think that just maybe... The updating mechanism could have perhaps just rolled back an update if it caused a bsod?

Seems like that infrastructure is really the biggest oversight and people would have been none the wiser.

Also surprised just how many things are running windows. I thought for sure the self checkout registers would have been some embedded Linux system.

Since nothing will happen, I'm surprised they don't just declare everything as bragging rights. It would be unpatriotic not to splash the cash that you have received because you, and America, are clearly in God's favour according to the Prosperity Gospel.
