Plus one to this. It's super nice separating concerns in this way.

I've heard this out two ways:

And when paying for the more expensive

Buy once cry once

Posts are public on Lemmy. I can't speak to specific instances and apps, but in the basic web interface, "View Votes" can be found under the three dot menu of each post.

This, and specifically, you can also try disabling steam in game recording for whatever game is giving you trouble. I have found it to nuke performance in some games similar to what you are describing.

+1. Made the switch when mullvad lost port forwarding. Works quite well with Gluetun
