There are two types of salary, exempt and non-exempt (from overtime pay). If I am remembering correctly, you basically have to be management to not get overtime pay. Something like being over at least 2 people and having input on major decisions. May have been more to it.

I know enphase micro inverters have "anti-islamding" tech that disables output when they lose grid connection. I would expect any reputable manufacturer to also have the same tech.

I don't expect that for backup generators, but the proper way for them is via a transfer switch. You can wire in a properly made cable instead of a suicide cable. The transfer switch would prevent the inlet connector to the house from ever being live. (And since it is a proper cord from the generator, there would be no exposed ends coming from it.)

Dell sure is slow, scammer had my number and service tag for a tablet I had. This was more than 5 years ago, they have been leaky for a while.

But then again this was the same company that replaced a motherboard instead of the digitizer that had a large dead spot.

But if I were capable I'd immediately rinsing my dishes I wouldn't have a problem washing them.

From what I could find out you still have to pay the office you use. This subscription doesn't actually cover the actual appointments.

I could be wrong, but that is what it seemed like to me.

But even in saying it is a ship problem, that isn't limiting to one failure point. There could be many small failures or choices that lead to the "ship problem." Of course after that, you have a new cascade of things that lead to the final outcome still, but I just want to express that "ship problem" doesn't mean simple.
