  • Same for me, I got so used to it.
The only annoyance is when (mostly brand) stuff is purposefully displayed in a different unit (e.g. washing powder in washing loads instead of kg). But imho that kind of obfuscation speaks for itself...

  • Person of Interest - it not only anticipated NSA mass surveillance (with some SciFi elements but anyway) but also ethical questions about AI, the singularity of human intelligence and human nature in general. All while being a well told crime show with comedic and heartwarming moments.

  • Afaik the deal between Mozilla/Firefox and Alphabet/Google is that Mozilla receives funding for setting Google as the default search engine. When the user decides to change that after install it has no influence on that contract.

My guess is that the deal is based on Firefox' market share, so as long as the fork identifies as Firefox by user agent, this shouldn't influence it at all.

There can be only estimations, either based on market share analysis or build-in telemetry.

Well, morality, I don't know a lot about it but my great-uncle was a philosopher, very well known and he knows everything about morality and he told me that me, my family and my party got the biggest morality ever seen. It's so big, he said, it's in fact immoral to be so great with morality so you see I'm a stable genius with perfect morality and when I say grabbing pussy is moral then I'm absolutely right.

  • That's were I got the idea for a real EU/continent wide ticket, but France has to adopt such a ticket in the first place.
And Germany has solve some issues with it's own ticket: Since so many transportation companies are involved some have troubled to accept all the different tickets. Imagine this on European scale...
And our ministers of transport and finance try to kill the ticket silently by reducing funds.
