Actually thats the funny and really sad thing. America has guns as they copied the swiss system of an armed militia then kept the guns and abolished the militia creating the basket case they have now with a shitonne of guns and not enough people trained to be safe with them.

Thats more about the implemwntation of a represntative body not if it is in the consatitution tho. Any hope of this system being implemented wich im in full support of got killed by the gamblw on putting it in the constitution which would have ensured none of these things.

Why does sorting need to be in the db?

Wven still we can probably acheive a decent customisation partually customisable sorts

Say we only care about upvotes, downvotes, comments, timefactor

Say we break it down so u can set a custom weighting for each of these eg 0, .25, .5, .1 then make a sort for all combinations thats only 4^4 = 256 combinations its a lot but seems within the real of possibility we still avoid needing to custom sort for each user.

I feel its a feature not a bug. It theoretically should filter the overall content to a more "average" viewpoint be the one that bubbles to the top this should mean that the more extreme views will be downvoted more and help solve the massive political divide that the existing echochambers have helped create.

Downvotes will always be used as a "i dont like this" and "i disagree with this" thats just what people gonna do when they have an emotional responce to somethibg they see. I recon its fine tho cos all people are going to dislike bad content but only specific groups will dislike other content. Might lead to some groups getting targetted but only the extremists like the nazis, communists, and vegans will be targeted and thats fine they are extremists.

The centralisation should be fine but definatly something to keep an eye on.

Hotel card seems like a decent tool for the job not hard enough to cause damange but rigid enough to poke around and test. And soap is a pretty good lubticant but mixing it with the existing lipids wont be doing it any wonders.

Also btw soap isnt actually that good at cleaning u (it is effective at killing bacteria tho) most of the cleaning comes from the fact that after u put soap on something it feels gross till you wash it all off with water.

What do u think shampoo is its soap with a liquifaction agent it does the exact same thing just with double the price and fancy marketing.

Skin care products are required to get no government cetification on their claims. Hence its mostly marketing and giving/taking advantage of people with self image issues. Its the next step in consumerism to take advantage of mens wallets in the same way the beuty industry has been doing to women for years.

Soap and water will clean practically anything and if ya need it maybe some dirt cheap moisturiser for literally any part of your body will do the trick. Hell u can probably find something in ur kitchen that will do just as good of a job as any bullshit product.

Dont buy into the marketing mens beuty marketing is perfectly correllated with self image issues its all designed to make u a good little consumer.

Honestly the best thing u can do for your skin is go swimming in the ocean once a day.
