  • Lemmy cross posts work by simply doing a query on the database for all posts with the same URL. If a quoted post is just a link then Lemmy should be able to handle it

  • How. Post public messages via tor. And demand payment to a Monero address.

Then all u gotta do is not get flagged for living above your means.

  • Yeah I recommend mint nowdays. Ironically I use it myself as my gaming distro cos QubesOS doesn't do graphics acceleration in qubes unless u got an entire GPU to pass through.

  • I think u may be able to do keys with a passkey which is being pushed by apple and google as something built directly into ur phone.

The signup process would then theoretically be visit site get redirected to any instance get prompted to create account by built in system prompt and ur done.

  • My friend u are striving for mediocrity. We have a real chance with reddit.

As I have been saying for a long time our biggest issue is that we don't have fediversal accounts. My account should be nothing more than a private key used to sign my actions that I can log into on any instance.

  • For the fediverse to rule as the dominant form of digital social communication then we must saturate all markets. Yes short form video is shit but we need a federated alternative to every service. More open uncensored communication for all people will only be good.

  • Here's my idea for rules as well as the ones u came up with: No illegal shit No extremist ideology No hexbear or ml cos they will claim they are being unfairly censored and the irony of that is pretty funny.
