  • God all you people do is whine that you might have to see some anti-imperialist positions. I know you all come from reddit so you're not used to seeing those.

Why not just go back to reddit, where they protect you from ever having to see any non-pro-west foreign-policy positions?

  • Spot on.

These are the kids (OP included) calling you a tankie online:

  • The US has > 800 external military bases. Every other country combined has < 20. Which one is credible?

  • You’re saying that like Russia and China don’t have slave labor camps and haven’t been bombing Africans and Muslims for decades.

Where on earth are you getting this?? China hasn't been involved in an external conflict since the 60s!

  • Internal documents from the Kunes county justice system from 2017 and 2018, provided to the BBC by Adrian Zenz, a leading expert on China's policies in Xinjiang, detail planning and spending for "transformation through education" of "key groups" - a common euphemism in China for the indoctrination of the Uighurs. In one Kunes document, the "education" process is described as "washing brains, cleansing hearts, strengthening righteousness and eliminating evil".

These have been debunked over and over again, so much so that reddit isn't even buying it anymore. Their source(s) are Zenz, an anti-semitic, anti-abortion, far-right christian fundamentalist, who doesn't speak mandarin, and works for the US state department.

Also, the BBC isn't much more than a tabloid at this point:

  • Not since the redditors all came over.

  • Source?

The US currently runs a system of slave labor camps, has been bombing Muslims and Africans for decades, and Europe has been doing the same for hundreds of years. Are these trustworthy sources of information to tell you about their enemies?

  • Source: The black book of communism

  • I need to make a bot to post this any time fascism gets mentioned.

The western left’s use of the term fascism, is borderline white-supremacist at this point. Fascism was a form of colonialism that died by the 1940s, and is only allowed to be demonized in public discourse, because it was a form of colonialism directed also against white europeans. It was defeated, and Germany / Italy / Japan reverted to the more stable form of government for colonialism (practiced by the US, Canada, UK, Australia, France, the Netherlands, etc): bourgeois parliamentarism.

British, european, and now US colonizers were doing the exact same thing, and killing far more people for hundreds of years in the global south, yet you don’t hear ppl scared of their countries potentially “becoming british colonialists.” They haven't changed, and their wealth is still propped up by surplus value theft from the super-exploitation of hundreds of millions of low-paid global south proletarians.

This is why you have new leftists terrified that the UK or US or europe “might turn fascist!!”, betraying that the atrocities propagated by those empires against the global south was and is completely acceptable.

  • Apparently the average US football game has only 11 minutes of actual playing time, out of an average of 3 hours running time, mostly taken up by commercials and stoppages. I have no idea how anyone watches these games, they just feel like one long commercial, even during those 11 minutes that they're actually playing.

  • I'm in the part of Losurdo's Stalin book where he's comparing gulags to US and Nazi concentration camps. The US south for example had death rates of over 50% year after year after it was instituted, in peacetime, for nearly all black inmates. Nazis had similar rates for jews and leftists. Gulags, nowhere even close, except during the food shortages during ww2.

Basically outside of the high death rates, the biggest difference was the reason for imprisonment and path to rehabilitation. In the gulags, prisoners were almost all petty criminals and white soldiers, with all of them being seen as potential future comrades, and usually released after a short time. The nazis and US are racial supremacist states that stack their prisons full of specific ethnic groups and undesirables, with no possibility of rehabilitation, and where you are worked to death and replaced by more.

  • Sitting in rows??!? What totalitarianism is this

  • That video was so good:

Does britain produce cars or EVs? No.

Does britain produce semiconductor tech? No.

    Does britain produce anything? No.

    Does britain accomplish anything? No.

    Is Britain worthless? Yes.
