Any big tech company will both take your money and spy on your activities.

Why are these companies the worst? It's a honest question since I actually don't know much about them.

Federation means mastadon messages end up here on Lemmy, and vice versa. So technically... It's welcome to Lemmy in a way...:)

I can't wait personally and will install it as soon as I can :) If it has some severe flaws, I just log out and log into Gnome or Plasma instead. It's so simple.

Pop OS is awesome. You should like it a lot. Even the way it looks by default is much better then Ubuntu for sure.

I'm never closing mine as long as it has active users. Please come if it's a good location for you - western USA. Performance and uptime is really good but you will have some network latency if you are on the other side of the world.

The default settings didnt have a redirect so you were getting the default nginx web page since you went to the http version.

Now you should be redirected. Thanks for taking the time to bounce a few pixels back and forth. :)

I updated https://lemmy.today this morning and no problems at all.

We are a small instance but still wanted to post this. Maybe it calms the nerves for some instance owners. :)

It's very nice, and thanks for including all instances. We are supposed to be a network of Lemmy instances working together. This site highlights that idea so thank you.

If I could offer an improvement idea, it would be to first show instances that are down in it's own group, and then every other instance exactly as it's done now, in alphabetical order.

Well everyone else is extreamly overpriced. I work with cloud environments as part of my job, and its silly the amount of money being spent on AWS.

"Pay for what you use" is more like "pay us for every little thing that would be free if you owned the server".

I need to go to rehab, clearly.

I'm glad LW is hosted there too, it's a good service and really good customer service as well.

Could be but there was a button at the top of the scanning site where I could push to make a fresh scan. And still it shows up as phishing.

Very mysterious but it will be interesting to find out why...
