  • If you want something turnkey there's Buffer.

Another option is to leverage the use of bridges, for example there's Bridgy Fed that allows you to have a presence on both Bluesky and or Mastodon from a single account on either platform.

  • Stop considering, and start putting contingencies. There's no reason to limit yourself to one platform when there are tools to keep stuff in sync.

  • Someone should absolutely be disqualified from being a DA when they can't be a prime example of being a law-abiding citizen.

  • Their clickyness in themselves is good and responsive, it's just that it's too noisy to my taste.

  • It feels like it's missing something without rumble..

  • Onboard remapping profiles would be nice, I use them on my 8bitdo controller and I can toggle them on-the-fly.

I personally remap the paddles mostly, but still.

  • I hope they improve on the following

    • The touchpads and paddle "clicks" are way too noisy
    • An actual D-pad
    • ABXY buttons less mushier
    • USB-C port for charging
    • Similar to Steam Deck layout
    • A place to store the USB dongle inside the controller when not in use
    • Better rumble

I switched to an 8bitdo controller with hall effect joysticks since, but I do miss the touchpad's precision for FPS.

  • "We" didn't vote for this

  • Not voting is not only refusing to participate in the democratic process (despite its flaws and choice of candidates), but it's also silently accepting the outcome of it, no matter how much the impact of your tiny vote has.

If you care about what's going on in any way, voting isn't only a right, it's a duty.

  • Let's at least block the government agencies from using it in favor of open platforms and protocols to communicate with its citizens.

At least give me some good ole RSS in the backend, and they could host their own Mastodon instances that people can subscribe to from other public instances.

And the comparison to a smart ring is pants-on-head stupid..

  • Summarized the transcript using Firefox Orbit

    • The speaker had an unexpected experience with UPS, a shipping company, regarding high brokerage fees for a package shipped from the US to Canada.
    • UPS charged significantly higher fees than competitors for customs clearance, holding the package hostage until the fees were paid.
    • The speaker ordered a hot sauce collection and was not informed of the shipping company used, resulting in unexpected fees.
    • The fees included entry preparation, disbursement, and GST, with the entry preparation fee being more than the initial shipping cost.
    • The speaker contacted UPS to dispute the fees, citing the Consumer Protection Act of Alberta and arguing that the fees were unfair and an unwarranted additional cost.
  • Oh no, the consequences of my choice!

  • Please, keep pissing off the military, sounds like a FAFO-prone strategy.

  • Tulsi Gabbard and Director of National Intelligence, what an oxymoron.

  • On the other hand, Jack Smith is stuck between a rock and a hard place. Either he winds down the case, and dismiss it without prejudice, hoping to open a new trial before the statute of limitation runs down during Trump's presidency, or he asks for a stay to freeze the statute of limitation countdown, but that gives the opportunity for Trump to hire a new special counsel, resume the trial and dismiss it with prejudice, not allowing this to be tried ever again.
