I wouldn't say the humor replies on Australian slang (outside of a couple sidequests), it's just not funny. That being said, you could try the DLC which takes place in claptrap's brain and thus doesn't have any space australians.
I get what you're saying about the floatiness, but I liked it as a gimmick with the air boosting.
You should try the Pre-Sequel! I feel like it further improved on the combat and each of the playable characters is awesome in their own way. At least at the top end, "ultimate vault hunter mode" or whatever it's called, seemed more balanced in terms of enemy health instead of being reliant on priming every enemy with slag.
You're right, this is the country that gave us "He thinks he's a girl" Birdo.
I dunno. I'm a boy who wishes he was a girl but seeing perfect, youthful trans people just made me feel like I must only want to transition because women are sexy and, like, who doesn't think having big fuckin titties would be great? But as I get older, there's been more graceful trans representatives that show people just being humans. No cat ears, no magic. Just girls who used to be unhappy with how they looked.
I'm just rambling at this point but thank you for engaging.
That's the thing, though. Is Ferris a trans character? Or just another flavor of anime girl for weebs to oogle over? I understand that the comments under a toiletpaperUSA meme is not the place to be griping about the fetishization of transgenderism but I gotta yell at clouds every now and then.
How do we feel about this Ferris character? The fact that he is stated to present himself as a girl to trick others into mistaking him gives me conniptions. It feels like a character designed to be looked at, rather than one to give representation, if that makes sense.
I think the closest biological analog is mammals, actually. They can have the ability Thick Fat for example.
I think it's just a coding error that they never fixed between editions (my headcanon is that some employees fought for it to be kept it). They're not called Game Freaky after all.
Can't wait to see how the fighters defend Earth from Nappa and Vegeta, but first I have to see what happens to Batman's parents and how Spiderman gets his powers
I'm not saying "True Strike shouldn't exist". I'm saying as it is, it's incredibly underbalanced and not worth spending two turns to cast one spell.
I'm all for build diversity, but if you want to guarantee your big spells land (you can still miss with advantage, btw) you might as well pick Divination Wizard and use a Portent. If someone wanted to use this cantrip and I was DMing, I'd adjust it to be more accessible.
True strike is also a concentration spell, which means you can't use any other concentration spells and you have a chance to waste it if someone hits you.
It's also "advantage on one attack roll", meaning it has no effect on spell saving throws like Fireball, Ray of Frost, etc.
There's just a huge opportunity cost of taking it when you only get a few cantrips for the whole game
I'm pretty sure it's short for Daniel "Rootin' Tootin'" Games
