I'd be very surprised if OneWeb ever launches on Ariane 6. It is not build for cheap LEO launches at all afaik. But maybe some ride shares, who knows.

What other power source? There is only solar and nuclear in space. And not even NASA does nuclear unless absolutely required for the mission.

That disregards the massive advancement in technology, hindsight, tooling and theory they can make use of now. There is a world of difference there even with the same hardware. So not comparable imo, it wasn't for a lack of effort on Nintendo's part.

I think more like was done all the time for console games. These days that doesn't happen as much anymore as far as I know. But I think this shows that CUDA is not a good enough abstraction for modern GPUs or the compilers are not as good as expected. There should be no way they got that much optimization out of hand written/optimized code these days.

Why not just use Powershell then? It's been available for Linux for a long time. I use it for scripting quite often

I'll second the importance of core for avoiding back pain. I do mostly abs focused core workouts and that helps a lot for me personally.

She probably won't be able, like most athletes, to do this until regular retirement age. So why not make the most of it now. She can always go back into research if she felt like it after she can retire for life.

I think it's quite a few Ubisoft games that are affected. So kinda yes and no. But for me it broke Firefox and I had to roll back, so that update in general is just an awful pile of garbage

Different machine, at least in my (unfortunately extensive) experience. The inner eye pressure tester has just a dot, no picture. And it's not that bad, very treatable. But if you miss it too long, yep your blind

Weird as hell take. His first example is League of Legends. Yes it is client server based, so give people the server binaries. Despite me not liking the game itself, LoL is huge and it would be shame to lose that history whenever it inevitably dies out.

And he mentioned that if this law would go through, no one would build live service games anymore. Oh no what a shame that would be... And it is absolutely wrong. Because guess what, the OGs of live service games, Valve, would need to do nothing at all if this went in to action. You can play TF2, CS2 (and yes even CSGO) and DotA 2 today by just running your own server. It's not that hard.
