I could read a similar report for almost any cabinet post, or more likely multiple cabinet posts, and I wouldn’t bat an eye. I would almost assume this is happening in most cases to some degree.

Most of these secretaries are picked for their willingness and ability to absorb what passes for tough questions in congressional hearings while the real power like Hobgoblin here make the decisions.

I say this quite a bit. Whatever the opposite of buyer’s remorse is, that is how I feel about the Steam Deck. Hands down the best purchase I made last year, and that is continually affirmed.

It’s probably half an indictment of Duolingo effectiveness and half an indictment of my retention skills.

I neither engage in it as an applicant nor value it as a hiring manager. It would be difficult to assess if this has hampered my career, but I am doing fine.

I became a Costco member 3 weeks ago on this basis.

A real bidet is well worth a modest investment if you have the cash to spare, but this could work too.

I would just suggest rubber-banding the sprayer into the “on” position and keeping a kink in the hose easily reachable in front of the toilet. That way, you can simply unkink the hose to spray and rekink it when you’re done. No need to reach down under the dirty bits just to activate it.
