you saw how the crowd was cheering him on? and how the coverage kept on going back to him?
i never felt so disgusted at that organization as I did yesterday. i already knew of the infatuation between dana white and himself, but the rest of the cronies swooning around him, kissing his ass, made me rethink how much i really want to be a fan of this organization going forward.
beautifully said.. the way i feel about things also is.. boomers and the immediate subsequent generations are fucking up the country and thriving.. millenials are the ones holding it together with ducttape because that's all we've got for now..
and no, im not speaking for everyone in each group i just mentioned
i'm at a standstill on deciding which phone to purchase next. i currently have the pixel 6 and i'm actually disappointed with it. the phone is too buggy and im tired of google's bs.
to be honest, i felt like that general view of culture fueled its way into the real world. i have people at work thinking the IT department is just some bastion of antisocial hermits that you can just talk to anyhow, or know automatically what exact issue you have when you say "my computer is not working".
i've handled some level of helpdesk support over the past 20 years..
till this day, i discover something new that i've never come across before. granted, some of it has to do with the newer versions of windows and mobile devices but just whenever i figure i've seen it all, something new comes up almost every day
cool man, thank you and @NoMoreCocaine@lemmy.world for the helpful repsonses.. i'll check out the dual boot option.. also i wouldn't even mind using a remote access tool to access a standalone windows based pc if i really needed to.. im getting tired of their ship
curious.. as someone who primarily browses the web, and works with apps like adobe creative suite, office 365, and zoom.. could i still use linux comfortably?
im willing to pick up on new ways do things and i wouldn't even mind if i had the ability to switch back/forth between OS's using the same computer (is that possible?)
this happened with me and mixed martial arts fighters growing up.. and yes i know they make their living getting bashed in the head, but what drew me in was the self discipline and humility aspect of it from a few of the fighters at the top.
one of them was most beloved not only because of how domniant he was but also his kindness and cheerful personality outside of it.. only to find out he lets former controversial brazilian presidential candidate jair bolsonaro live in his USA home.
jokes but i agree.. i remember going to visit some relatives and sat and watched tv with them.. i too was so shocked at how they'd sit idly thru commercials jarring into their show, slapping them in the face..
i can't stand it. just about anything i watch, when i watch, is commercial free
i'm using it from now on
