I, too, am tired of that phrase, but the recent rounds of unionization and indictments of the powerful few give me hope that the gullible boomer generation, who believed all of their shit because of their selfishness, are either dying or are being replaced. I think it's only going to get larger and more organized the more we're pushed to the extremes.
It might be too late to stop the train from derailing, but their normal placations and lies aren't working on the newer gens. We know America is not the bastion of freedom and liberty our forebearers fawned over and ate up from the capitalists. We have eyes and critical thinking and they've taken everything from us.

I recently found an Android app on F-Droid called "Linux Command Library" and for the first time I'm not as intimidated to try Linux for my main driver/gaming rig. Previously, I had always fucked my installs up by facing an issue I wanted to fix, and using any info online to do so, even if I had no idea what the command was actually doing. Almost always I end up fucking everything up and needing to reinstall.
I've been saving posts and comments regarding Linux info for the last month on Lemmy and cannot wait to take the plunge and finally rid myself of Microsoft!

Then I learned about all the shit Reagan did and realized that as many people as had died in the Holocaust, it paled in comparison to the number of people who lost their lives to a system he orchestrated or demolished. It all started with him and will continue to get better the more we return to policies that he hamstrung.

best of all, we wouldn't have to vote between a douche or a turd sandwich.
Honestly, I get erect just thinking about how much better things could be with this system of voting. It's essentially like a unionization for our political system, which is why it will never happen.
