Because a majority of people dislike the same violence, want to see military spending reduced to pay for the things the population need. However, the best we can do to get all that it's vote and protest and they're making both "illegal", or at least trying. Don't think everyone here is a craven money leech.
Many of us just want to live free of worry and pain, be happy with family and friends, and try to make this planet as livable, as we can for all, with the husk of a world we are left with.
And someone who's part of a cult, or a significant other who is abused, will try to recruit people to their cause or downplay the violence or dig in deeper with their abusers.
Don't get me wrong, those who perpetuate the hate on the conservative side are rat bastards who have no place in society. However, those on the consumption end have been programmed to think this way. Deprogramming takes a lot of time and requires the cult member to want to learn more and get out. However, forcefully removing a cult member will usually just push them back to the cult harder.
Either these Republican rubes die or start investigating other sources of info. Either way, we have a long fight ahead of us, and that's only if we can cut off the head of the snake and stop the cult at the top.

Moreover, tRump claims if he didn't have total immunity from all crimes, it would prevent a president from doing their job for fear of prosection under the next guy. It's like, my dude there's been over 200-years of Presidents who didn't need that immunity and weren't indicated after term.

It really is a concerning situation that is going to turn November+ into a nightmare. Hopefully, we see an article about tRump being found dead as a headline if the SCOTUS slobs up the asinine defense of total immunity. That's the only way I think this can resolve without a constitutional disaster. He's basically daring someone to do something and I, for one, hope the "find out" part comes for him.

It's tiresome, and I just want this collective nightmare for most, and wet dreams for others, to be over. The constant goal-post dodgeball game is beyond overplayed at this point. Anyone who still conflates what Biden is doing with regards to Israel and what tRump would do in the same position, are beyond help at this point, IMO. tRump supporters have, for nearly a decade now, refused to accept reality as it exists, and instead are perfectly content with tRump so long as he is hurting the right people. They simply cannot distance their ideology from their politics so they double-down.
This is why MAGA constantly thinks all those voting for Biden and the Democratic party are doing so because they are loyal to Biden and the party. Most of us voting for Biden are not loyal at all to the Democrats or Biden. We vote for whomever will move the needle toward the kind of world we want to live in. tRump absolutely will do the up opposite, we already know that from the first circus of an administration.
Whatever keeps that traitor out of positions of power is a good thing for this country, it's people, and the world. tRump is a weak-man's version of a strong-man. He deserves no less than jail time.
I guess if I had to pay taxes to get some sort of aid, any aid inside Gaza or to subsidize an oil leech's record profits, I'd be fine funding 10 such piers.
Seriously, they should have argued that by the defense's own argument, Biden could jail, torture, and/or kill SCOTUS judges, political rivals such as tRump, and effectively commit any crime, so long as he was president when it happened and watch how fast these fascists turn tail.
I don't understand this country and really wish the boomers would find another hobby besides redoing all the shit the generation before them tried to stop and making everyone's life worse to do it.
One can hope. Unfortunately, too many are caught up in wedge-issues to solidify against the parasite class and demand change. When those same rich fucks own all the communication means and information storage, they'd just shut down our ability to coordinate if we ever grouped up to take on that group and this shit world they've created.
