  • Well now we know why the cumfarts are maggoty, huh

  • The only argument would be software support. Getting newly discovered flaws fixed would be ideal, but many manufacturers don't do that for nearly as long as we should reasonably expect them to.

  • Best part of my time in a warehouse was that I could keep the safety boots after I quit

  • I have to say, the Odyssey line deserves some huge respect for the kind of response times Samsung has achieved with a VA panel, of all things.

  • I've had the same Casio watch for 16 years now, just had to change the battery once. Sturdy and precise.

Well, almost. A while ago it set itself to be three hours off, and I can't figure out how to get it back to my timezone. I follow the steps in the manual to have it re-set itself, but it's still three hours off.

I don't understand where it gets that time from

  • I think he has something to do with fugtrup, better add that to your search terms

  • Oooh, right. Didn't remember that slogan

  • AliceinWonder1and, a Kiwi nerf nerd who plans to invade Ohio with an army of femboys

  • AliceinWonder1and, future invader of Ohio, ruler of femboys

  • I genuinely didn't even notice

  • Don't let Alice see this

  • Honestly, I actually respect the meme. What was there first, a fridge? Now a toaster? Maybe a microwave next?

It's so stupid that it's kinda funny to me

  • Yeah, this is why it's important to try and break down large goals into smaller goals. (I'm not saying it's easy though)

Look at building muscle for example. What you need to do is focus on the little improvements, one extra rep each week, one extra pound each week. Make that your goal every single workout, instead of beating yourself up over the fact that you don't look like 5x Mr Olympia Chris Bumstead yet.
(Which you won't anyway, but that's another story)

We want short-term success, instant gratification, but excercising for improving our health is a long-term project, whichever way you do it.

So you need to train in a way that gives you these smaller achievements sprinkled throughout the weeks, months and years.

How though, that's highly individual and depends on the person.

  • I mean, if anyone, Captain Lezbian is the person who needs to have one

  • title

    Jump
  • I haven't seen it used much in a non-gendered way, so I guess that's why it has a clear masculine ring in my head

  • I don't intend to blame them, I'm just making an observation.

The fact that they don't know is a problem in itself too, and spreading awareness about cybersecurity and teaching general tech literacy and common sense is not done as much as it should be.

It's exactly like you say. They don't know, and how would they? No one is ever giving them the information they need.

  • You're right, most people either don't care, or don't even know enough to care in the first place.

And that's a huge problem. Yes, companies have some responsibility here, but ultimately it's the user who decides to use the service, and how to use it.
