Are there two autotldr boys and this is the worse one, or am I going crazy? I think the other one has a semicolon in the username.

The asshat that complained on Lemmy.world about this community also apparently messaged the Lemmy.ee admins trying to get it defederated. Just a heads up.

I'd normally agree with you lol, but I got laid off recently so I have to make due with what I have for now.

The obvious answer that escaped me for whatever reason was just to create a VirtualBox VM. I already have it installed so why not.

Well my home is on my spare drive currently lol. I guess I could just create another btrfs subvol alongside @home and use that as root.

Seriously thinking about nuking my years old Gentoo installation to try Nixos at this point.

I run Gentoo, but do a daily update when I think of it. Usually never takes more than a minute or two. If it’s a kernel update I just reboot when I’m finished.

Maybe not completely. There was one near the really wealthy area in Fort Worth, Texas when I lived there.
