We pay $500 a month for family "health care" because we're forced to. Every doctor visit I go to I get a $40 bill just for walking in the door, on top of paying for my medicine copays. It really sucks.

Housing is kept artificially scarce to keep prices up. Criminalizing homelessness raises the demand for housing. I wonder how many people making these policies have rental properties or invest in housing.

I was a white kid who was bussed in the 80s in Louisville KY. I was a minority white kid in my class and I fully believe I broke out of the racism cycle I was in because of it. Luckily it happened before all that crap was firmly instilled in my pre-racist little brain
