My pinecil has lasted for years.

I use a pinecil and it’s great. Tips are cheap and a standard size, it takes usb-c power and has a good user interface.

Not really sure what ifixit is trying to accomplish with this overpriced iron.

Looks like the difference between the two is that they removed the section calling Microsoft’s security culture inadequate.

I wonder what motivated the change.

When I was a kid, windows XP was having stability issues and I wanted to play minecraft. Switched to Linux and had no issues.

Any particular points you could summarise for us?

Seriously, OP sounds like they taste tested a handful of open software options and wanted to share, but had to implicate the newbie decision of windows vs Linux somewhere.

By the way, what are “subreddits” called on lemmy? I can see they start with “c/“ instead of “r/“.

It’s a tab organiser, like tree style tabs.

Has a bunch of organisation features and makes it easier to manage lots of tabs.
