  • Spoiler alert, federated networks made up of small-time server owners are extremely vulnerable to both human and AI driven propaganda, dissemination, manipulation etc.

    I predict that unfortunately lemmy and the other fediverse networks are doomed. We have maybe a few years at most, then only paywalled serviced will be able to stand up against the onslaught.

    Would you be willing to pay like ~$2 dollars a month to avoid this? Or are you expecting solutions for free?
