Thank you for all your efforts, I recently migrated from lemmy.world and my experience is much much better now that I'm on lemm.ee, I wish I'm in a better situation to support you financially.
UEFI forum made it a requirement for motherboard constructors (hp, dell, msi...) to make their UEFI implementation to be able to at least read fat(12/16/32) filesystems. That is why you need a fat(12/16/32) partition flagged ESP (efi system partition) for holding your boot files.
So, I dont think you can do that unless you fall back to the old outdated BIOS or you have some *nix filesystem in your uefi implementation which I dont trust.
That is why one small (512Mib) ESP and one BTRFS partition occupying the rest of my drive is my go, I can isolate the root (/), var and home partitions using subvolumes.
Users who distro hope may need a separate /home partition.
A genuine question if you would like please, I know you meant warm oil for easy maneuvering (oil moves faster when warm/hot), but what about hot oil? Is it safe to change motorcycle oil after an hour or more ride when the oil might be toi hot?
A co-worker of mine tried adding water to his car reservoir after he just stopped from a long ride, the water was near boiling point and it blowed up on him the moment he opened tha water reservoir (not sure that is the correct name). Can such a thing happens with oil exchange?
Exactly what I have been looking for this entire evening, i made a new account on lemm.ee and now I'm looking to sync my old (lemmy.world) and new accounts. I will give it a try and report back here. Thank you for your efforts
Edit: can you post a link please, I couldn't find it in the play store.
