I set those using the Sustem Settings (KDE) and Tweaks (GNOME). To me all fonts look a bit different between Gnome and KDE.

Network Manager doesn't support DOH.

Did you try dnscrypt-proxy?

Totally agree. There should be only one place for setting the system-wide DNS.

This is terrible. At least they should deprecate that file.

1.It doesn't support DoH 2.It's set per connection, not system-wide. If you connect to another wifi network you have to set dns again.

Solid Explorer suppports multiple cloud providers too.

There are plenty of these "light" systems. All are fast and snappy until you open a web browser :(
