  • Mint do have software center preinstalled, which supporta flatpaks. Synaptic is a wrapper around apt afaik and it is useful for people who want to use apt without knowing the commands.

  • Its about Mac OS itself being proprietary, even though it certain part is foss. Apple do manage foss projects but you know, google, facebook and microsoft does that too. They defenitely need foss and do promote in some ways. And all theese are stupid dramas like "Microsoft<3Linux"

  • You are forgetting the sun. The earth turns in the direction of sun ever so slightly so if you align the feather next to the ball in the side of the sun, then probably the feather falls faster
