  • *Plurality and it's still sedition on the part of the leaders. If you advocate for authoritarianism in a republic then you are inherently advocating for overthrowing the republic. You are advocating for some people to have rights, while others don't.

It doesn't matter if a majority of voters want that, they don't have the right to strip the minority of their right to representation.

All authoritarian ideologies are inherently incompatible with the concept of natural rights

  • This is nothing new at all, the GOP has been pushing their bs worldwide for years now. It's baffling how the liberals and leftists just sit around and allow these people to out-organize them, especially when it comes to media.

  • Oh you mean like specifically disallowing people from calling someone crazy unless that person is gay or trans? How the fuck is that "free speech"?

I can post some violent fantasy online and meta won't allow you to call me crazy for it, but if you call me crazy because you think I'm gay that's just fine?

  • I strongly disagree, reading any kind of book requires sustaining attention over long periods of time. It doesn't matter if it's 50 Shades or Ulysses, you don't get a dopamine rush from reading a book for 30 seconds like you do with Internet and social media. It's not the same at all and it's not just about prestige. I'd argue that the prestige comes from the fact tha reading books requires more effort and dedication

  • Politically it doesn't matter. You can't win an election by telling people the economy is great when they're struggling to afford groceries and people they care about are going homeless. Democrats sounded incredibly out of touch this cycle.

  • Those people weren't running for president. They may be culpable but it's no where near the same level as the actual party leadership.

Dems conveniently blame everyone but their own leadership every time they lose an election and therefore never learn anything from it.

  • Ah so we all need to respect your views, but when it comes to not wanting to support genocide label it virtue signaling.

Liberals are so pathetic. I'm sure that condescending everyone you meet will win you tons of votes.

You all spend so much time chasing fascist voters and then act so surprised when the fascists are suddenly legitimized by society.
