  • Woo! That's awesome. I am seeing quite a few more people.

We are already successful, I'm seeing stories, news articles, and videos that normally would never get pushed to the top. We can actually talk about things without overwhelming censorship, strange algorithms, or ads.

  • I wish gog supported Linux like valve does.

Don't get me wrong, I love steam and would probably keep buying it the platform given the chance.

However (it's very unlikely) valve could go and do a Google and start locking down their store and there is realistically nothing I can do about it (other than yo ho). Gog doesn't have that problem with drm free games. But they really don't support open source like valve has gone.

  • Reddit has become very strange.

Shadowbanning sucks when your on the other side of it.

Forever mods that have hundreds of default subreddits act like dictators. Banning people from all their collections of subreddits without anyone knowing.

Removing the ability for users to see actual number of votes up/down.

And now with the whole "don't upvotes certain content or you will get a strike". Never mind that isn't how the site works at all.

They haven't come out with a feature that people have wanted in the last couple of years.
