At what point does the judge start a contempt hearing for failing to comply with court orders?

So not only do they loose the direct revenue from the subscribers, but because the readership has fallen significantly & publicly, advertisement revenue is going to fall, too, as the advertisers know the paper isn’t reaching as many readers.

It's super annoying, but even though they're all airing at the same time, Picard, Lower Decks, and Prodigy all take place at slightly different times. At least they're consistent with TNG stardates, where 41000 is 2364, and each 1000 stardates equals one Earth year, so you can get a year from a captain's log entry. From Memory Alpha:

Lower Decks: 2380-2382

Prodigy: 2383–2385

Picard: 2399-2341 (Ignoring flashbacks)

Interesting use of terms. In Discworld Dwarven society, being lowborn would be a good thing and while being high born is only one step below surface dweller. I don’t like the guy either, but I don’t like that situation has devolved to the point that he can no longer step outside due to assassination attempts. That level of political violence should not be normalized. (And yes, we all know who was stoking the flames here, this is mostly his own doing.)

Why not? The Democrats would have won 5 of the 6 elections this century if it were popular vote instead of the Electoral College. (And that last one would be suspect, too, it was George W Bush’s reelection. If he wasn’t elected in 2000, who knows how the 2004 election would have played out.)

It’s standard practice for the prosecution and the defense to let the judge know how long they’ll need to prepare for the case. The more evidence the prosecution has compiled, the more time the defense can reasonably request to go through it.
