The main reason why I didn't want high end packages for our last car was, that I am a cheap bastard. The second reason is, that I think touchscreens in cars are one of the dumbest ideas imaginable.
Yeah, I have a similar experience. I used a bunch of operating systems in my years. From C64 GEOS over Atari TOS Amiga OS, DOS, Windows (pretty much all of them since 3.1, except Vista and 8), Android, MacOS and iOS to Linux (several distros)
I don't know why, but MacOS and iOS are for me just the worst user experiences. I feel completly trapped and helpless when using either one. Guess they are just not for me.
He won't be better. But as a non american I can understand why someone would feel voting a genocide enabler is just impossible. Here in Germany it is a somewhat comparable situation (but at least I can give my vote for a minority party, that might actually get into parliament).
It is crazy to starve people to procced calling them barbars for being desperate. But here they (the fasicst government) are, using this exact argument to justify a massacre.
That was 1st about the forced restarts (Linux always only told you that it is necessary, but let you decide when to do it) and 2nd about the commomness of it happening on Windows (restarts are necessary more often on Windows).
