I agree. Let's give the youth of today something to be proud of and look forward to instead of the old find a job, work for life, die, rinse and repeat, watch the world die, circular bullshit we've got going on now. We need plans for the future for both the environment and the earth's population. This would certainly instill a sense of both community and national pride.
Who knew that the "free information" telephone books from the 1970's would eventually be monetized and capitalized. I think the money world, with all of it's inherent issues, is not a good system for general citizens and only works for special citizens.
It's all "one instruction at a time" regardless of high processor speeds and words like "intelligent" being bandied about. "Reason" discussions should fall into the same query bucket as "sentience".
I don't know why but this reminded me of a joke..."My parents took me to the doctor because they thought I had mono. Turns out I was just lazy". I think that underneath it all we are like cows and just want to eat grass and bask in the sun as a default behaviour.
That is so sad. Poor, helpless child needed to depend on the mothers decisions to survive. I hope the mother learned a hard lesson. Also, my heart goes out to the mother as well. Too much dissonance today, damn.
