  • Agreed.

Under a Democrat: “We have to respect the rule of law, the court made a decision and now we have to abide by it.”

Under a Republican: “The court has made its decision, now it is up to them to enforce it.”

Democrats are truly spineless - they don’t even play the same game and bitch about losing constantly. Fuck this “honor in politics” shit, the fascists are winning.

  • Hyper wealthy are also incredibly amoral and willing to purchase/trade in stolen goods. Just look at the art world - where do you think stolen paintings end up?

Wine is even easier - they can drink and dispose of it without anybody being the wiser.

  • So, Biden and Congress are going to step in again and break this strike like they did with train workers, right? They’re both logistics unions that will (apparently) cripple supply chains if they go on strike.

If they say there’s no legal mechanism for that: they have a template and it already passed constitutional tests - the same teeth the Railroad Labor Act has can just as easily be applied to UPS/FedEx/DHL via a new law.

If Biden and Congress aren’t consistent with their logic on this it just proves how deep in the railroad baron pockets they really are.

  • Good point, and this raises an interesting topic: is there much value to old data from a link aggregator like Reddit when so many services are no longer available and the old links go nowhere?

Services like Facebook or Twitter are seemingly not as exposed to that type of issue since they’re less reliant on external content.
