  • Yes that's for sure what's happening. If I come across an account that does this I delete the account. No point in keeping an account that I need to 're-register' if I sign in once or twice a year.

  • What if?

    Jump
  • I usually binge a specific channel in a new subject then youtube blasts me with whatever they think will engage me the most and it's always the trashiest content. Big red arrows, all caps, surprised faces, misleading thumbnails.

  • no one wants to hear your bitchin

  • I have no complaints about the Deptford trilogy

  • This isn't a place for bigots but everyone else is welcome

  • You'd think this is good news but National Post basically exists to serve the Conservative party so all this tells me is that a lot of Canadians are loving the idea of identity politics.

  • It's a problem because it's not just Trump, it's whole party that has gone way off the rails. Bundy could run but he wouldn't win.

There's only like 3 rules to becoming president and one is age and other is being an american. The bar is intentionally low.

  • I actually don't come here too often in part because I'm not interested in the topics that are popular here.

  • I'll just piggy back onto this and say that downvotes come when people have generalized views and assume these are facts.

And downvotes my way are usually because I don't care about people's feelings on the internet.

  • Kind of, but it's not a miracle cure or escape. I tried exercising while depressed and I tried exercising after I learned how to manage depression. It never cured my depression but it is part of managing it. It's part of a healthy life style, which is part of taking care of myself, which is part of not feeling like I hate myself and my life.

I keep going to the gym because I enjoy it and it's an excellent way for me to vent emotions, no matter what my mood is.

  • Not bad, not great. I buy my veggies from a grocery that specializes in that, it's much cheaper and less plastic. No yogurt? No solid/brick cheese? No nuts and dried fruit? No canned beans or dried beans? Peanut butter?

What you really need is a $/portion table to see what's actually expensive here.

I think the muffins tip you over the edge into junk food land. They are very empty and basically the same as the rolls, the kraft dinner, and whatever is in the red box. A fair bit of this stuff is basically sugar and bread.

  • 100% tax over 100 million or something?

  • I often think that we just happen to live in very large communities that are more or less the same as they've been throughout the history of our entire species. It's made me feel a lot more connected to everyone around me because they don't feel like strangers anymore, they feel like extended family, in a way.

But I still love flipping people off, I just don't mean much by it. Like a gesture that says 'wtf are you doing you idiot'

  • I don't think it's far fetched to call non-religion a type of belief but to compare them further than that is missing the point of atheism.

  • Boy that article was a whole lot of nothing.

  • Missing a gym, physio, and doctors clinic.
