I tried so hard to get into Bookwyrm and joined several instances but it really holds no candle to Goodreads in terms of number of users. A single book that is not even that popular will often have hundreds or thousands of reviews on Goodreads. Like this book:
There are plenty of small torrents. Use the torrent generator and tell the script how much space you have and it will give you the “best” (least seeded) torrents whose sum is the size you give it. It doesn’t have to be big, even a few GB is suitable for some smaller torrents.
Because it’s more than just hosting them. Look I’m not a salesperson nor a fanboy. But years ago before I was into self hosting I was very happy to pay $15CAD/year for iTunes to host my obscure music and integrate it seamlessly with Apple Music. AFAIK there are no similar competing products.
It wasn’t until windows shat itself and I couldn’t boot into it anymore that I took my Linux drive more seriously.
