  • While I know nothing about nursing careers, that would also be my first option: Take an online degree from a reputable source that allows you to do on your pace during slow hours so you can do, once completed, something that is engaging and pays well.

Note: Before starting anything, check with possible future employers if they fancy that certification/course/degree. I've been burned with wasting my time AND money learning something that made me unattractive to employers.

  • Oh yes, granted it was only odd timing. And probably we're over-using airspace due to the all the private jet nonsense, which I don't think has a straightforward solution.

  • As surprised as when they decided to mess with FAA, if it's working one shouldn't mess with it.

  • I mean.. it reads as if it was out of a Spiderman or Batman issue.

  • Not what Dinosaur Train told me

  • Good job on answering a plain question like an asshole, give yourself a pat on the back for a well done job.

I just asked why he is giving what he calls refuse, when most people with chickens gives them corn, grain mix and mealworms.

  • Not sure if you're joking but to make safe to eat yogurt, you'll need to first kill the bad ones by heat, then cool it and once it is barren, you should invite the cool guys in like Lactobacillus bulgaricus, Streptococcus thermophilus, Lactobacillus acidophilus or Bifidobacterium lactis, they'll need to be kept cosy and warm, and that will give you yogurt.

  • And Campylobacter, Cryptosporidium, E. coli, Listeria, Brucella, Salmonella.. It's the Macy's parade equivalent of preventable diseases by UHT and y'all been invited!

On the other hand, unrefrigerated raw milk is a fantastic way of meeting who's who of the bacterial world.

  • Scarlet Hollow is a game that started being developed by 2021 and it is still being told by episodes with the last episode on hold since 2022. They did release a game between episodes, but then again it's a very large game with lots and lots of narrative branches.

Then I saw this: Note: The last update made by the developers was over 19 months ago. The information and timeline described by the developers here may no longer be up to date.

I would say yes but no, it is an incomplete game that gets very slow and gradual updates but it is definitely not abandoned by any terms: The developers release updates and news in a yearly basis and it seems to be continued alas in a glacial pace.

This feels like while this feature will be helpful to avoid early access unloved and discarded games, it will also be punishing those developers that release games as a part-time job, work on very small teams (or solo), or do complex and challenging projects.

  • I hope they eventually wisen up when it's time and vote for president Camacho.

Jokes aside, I wouldn't be surprised to see a President Beast in our lifetime though.

  • I kind of hope for a "Night of the Comet" scenario.

  • But mah copper!?

Edit: nevermind, they'll probably justify doing nothing by saying it will create jobs and opportunities.

  • I liked a lot both the OS and the form factor, it had some retrofuturistic feel that other "smart" watches lack. However, build quality was high crap, especially the last model they released.

I just hope that someone who's good making watches would take on the design style and software.

  • Where's the study?

  • Why is it so smelly if blood doesn't have that smell?

  • So.. What's your evaluation?

  • There's a Skyrim mod that uses (optionally) a local LLM to chat with NPCs. In addition you can also use speech to text and tts to just speak with the NPCs.

However, there's a lot of lag to make it a proper experience.
