  • I don’t understand why people think concentrating it and keeping large quantities on-site is preferable to heavily diluting and releasing it. A giant vat of radioactive water sounds like another disaster waiting to happen.

  • Glorious chaos. The game eases you into it with a few races with only 10 or 20 computer-controlled opponents. The first true 99 race was astonishing. I like the way they have everyone abreast in a standing start, and then spread them out with a few obstacles before funneling them onto the actual track so it becomes a rolling start, but without random chance determining the start order.

  • Either by linking to malware so you get infected if you click the ad, or by containing malware directly. Ads can contain code, making them almost like small applications that run when loaded.

  • You know what the last straw for me was? A few years ago, when people got infected with malware from ads including ads that ran on a Forbes article about malware in ads that you had to disable your adblocker to read.

  • This, and don’t discount the effect of good airflow. People need to stop storing fruits and veggies in plastic; it just traps moisture and promotes rot. I got these mesh bags that really increased their shelf/refrigerator life.
