  • How do you pry these open? The tab in the picture is really tight against the lid of the can. Is there are trick to loosening these without picking at them with my nails?

  • I think a lot of the comments about my fingers are in jest. Even if they're not it's all water of this ducks back.

Your experience is the same as mine. Perhaps when tabs came into fashion they were just flimsier but these days they're all so tight.

  • Seems like it's been a while since pull tabs in Australia didn't want to rip off your fingernails when you try to use them to open a can.

  • The finger shredding would happen as an result of opening the can and remain shredded after until healed so during and after. Dunno about the spoon.

  • Opens Lemmy.

You hear of little kids talking about their favourite social influencing sex trafficker rapists like it's socially acceptable now.

    Closes Lemmy.

  • This place is around the corner from us. Great food and people!

  • Bummer, the age gap between us it too big and you live in another country. Oh well, can you send nudes anyway?

  • Holy shit. Nope. Rarely shop at either.

  • What exit gates?

  • I forget the name of the project or institution and I'm not sure if the book covers this. Either in the late 19th or early 20th century a set of libraries/archives were created that you could call on the phone, theoretically from anywhere in the world. You could ask the staff questions and they had a sort of database of punch cards they could use to find the information you wanted.

  • Very cool. Are you meant to be piloting a Mark II or is it another fighter? It seems like the cockpit is far more exposed than what I imagine being in a Mark II to feel like. It's almost like you're on a surfski or canoe in space.

  • I miss the Foodworks near Newtown station. The ALDI that replaced it is so shit.

  • I'm pretty sure it predates both. Early Howard era policy no?

  • Centrelink is technically fairly new and came into existence in the late 90s. Before that we had the CES which wasn't as draconian as Centrelink.

  • Waiting to accidentally fall out of a window of his Moscow apartment?

  • I posted something a few weeks ago or so where they made a similar request/protest, it just got lost in all the other news.
