  • Not a bad deal considering the equipment provided. I’d love a home gym but just a power rack, a bench, a bar, and weights would be well over $1500 used. That’s not even including cardio equipment, a pulley system, or dumbbells which you’ll find in any reputable gym

  • Last time I was in the US about a year ago, a Gold’s membership was like $25 a month for the basic tier (which still gets you full entry, you’re just restricted to a single location). Idk where you’re looking but most gyms are pretty affordable unless you’re getting scammed into hiring a personal trainer

  • I use prettier which by default adds semicolons. Coming from predominately doing backend stuff (mostly in Java) I don’t really mind, especially when the formatter adds them for me

  • It all went downhill after FFX. I caved and bought the FF7 remake and I’ll never give square enix another cent after seeing how they bastardized one of the most legendary games of all time

  • I had a job where we used Spring Boot with JPA on the backend. It was nice because you could just use the ORM methods for basic CRUD functionality. But on the other hand it has this @Query annotation we used for whenever we wanted to write our own queries. Probably against best practice but it worked well enough

  • Some artists perform really well live. My first concert was Rush when I was 14 and that was amazing. Also they sell earplugs for concerts that lower the DB to a safe level while still maintaining clarity. You can always pregame too so you don’t spend too much on drinks
