I'm pretty hesitant to find the time to install and learn Linux but I'm VERY hesitant to upgrade to Win11. I'm having trouble understanding what the selling point for it is over Win10. I feel like it used to be clear and exciting to upgrade but they've managed to make this feel sort of dreadful.

I didn’t used to think this but now have come around to believing that it’s about how old you are because I dislike both the prequel and sequel trilogies but most people younger than me generally feel as good about the prequels as I do the original. Which seems like an obvious difference to me but I guess it’s that bias.

Is there a specific reason you didn’t like it or more a general meh?

I said this a million times last year on the leftist threads to people crying about the lesser evil. I don't wish any pain on their lives but I also don't know how to get through their thick skulls how real life can get unless they experience it from time to time.

To enforce #1 we require they move all investments to a market-wide USA ETF (or US bonds) before they can take their position and disallow sales or any unscheduled purchases while they hold that position. If they're not comfortable investing in the market they now have a part in keeping healthy then they are absolutely welcome to hold it as cash.

Yes, this absolutely. It should have always been like this but there is no other option now with AI.

Only thing I disagree with is using LLMs - if anything they should make that mandatory now because it's going to be totally integrated in the future and they're going to need to get used to using it. BUT grading should be 1000% more stringent on getting facts right and specifically looking for things that LLMs get wrong.

AND all that to say - using your list and other methods to show student knowledge/undertanding should avoid any possibility of being able to complete a task with AI alone.

I don't understand how you are not paid for planning time. Without providing that the school just makes their teachers glorified babysitters.
