  • Also you could just get an implant with conventional chips which communicates back to a quantum computer if you really needed that.

Assuming they make those in however many decades it takes. I guess technically they have half-finished ones in the lab right now.

  • That's because we didn't move to nuclear like we should have 20-30 years ago+.

There's no excuse to be burning coal or oil at this point, at least in first world countries that have the money.

We're hitting issues with energy use because we didn't take the upgrade path for our energy production that we were given because money.

Eat your boss (sexually), and pat your landlord on the head. Or whatever it is that doesn't piss the .world mods off.

  • Even in the most draconian countries, you can legally make backups of software you buy using unofficial methods so long as you don't redistribute them.

Even if it wasn't that would be completely fucking unenforceable and I can't imagine being enough of a bootlicker to care.

  • Give me a fucking job then.

I've been trying to get the fuck out of the DoD for years. No one fucking wants me. I'm so tired of trying. Fuck. I've been writing software since I was twelve and the most they let me do is automate software installs with fucking powershell ADT. Fucking poweshell, a god-damned toy language, and I don't even get to write it myself.

No one wants to hire me and I hate it.

  • Good, it always kind of pisses me off that the premier open source NAS package supported AD which EEE'd several open source protocols instead of something like FreeIPA.

I get they're a commercial company and this is their product, but they could've still had the decency to put that on the same level.

  • I use freeipa and the only luck I've had with integrating that with storage was by rolling my own with rocky Linux.

Before that truenas worked well, OMV is good for Lower power machines that can't handle full phat zfs and needs ext4 based mediums.

  • Fix the Mac mirroring mode to allow floating windows/multiple displays, and make a cost reduced version that still has good resolution and is around the same price as two high-end monitors.

You could improve your desktop setup, and take your monitors with you on the go. I think there's a good usecase there. They just have to figure it out.

Personally I'm more interested to see what happens with Valve Deckard.
