A lot of times memes are what they are because they're harder to fact check (can't copy and paste text from them). People use them to spread misinformation for fun. -This is actually a confirmed meme though.
Colony collapse was due to fungicides being sprayed in the day. -Bees don't need extra pollen (they have plenty of food to spare which is why we have honey as a product), and they don't need people's lawns (pick the leaves up before winter).
Leaving leaves is just being an asshole neighbor making safe paths for vermin to get into houses, and reduce the value of neighboring properties.
I got into mostly posting rather that commenting because of the hostility of Linux evangelists / brigaders. -Posts can't yield negative karma on reddit. My comment is typically in the form of the title or in the customization / creation of the meme.
Maybe you're still thinking back to when it was new; there are some posts from today (or a matter of a couple hours) with 3 comments already. It's funny how people are criticizing it when there's some adjustment (getting the right audience / parcipation) to be done in the face of a brigading / evangelizing issue from people it's not meant for. I didn't bring a community, and I'm not going to recruit for here from the reddit subs.
It's unlikely that anyone is going to come along and contribute anywhere near as much as I do. -I don't see the problem with that. Progress is happening and we are continually on the trending lists. IMO it's working.
Mariokart isn't all that great by today's standards though. The tracks look pretty and all (Tuxkart not so), but game-play wise Sonic All-Stars Racing Transformed blows it away (and it's even old).
Says the kind of person that believes everything they see and hear on the internet and chooses to not investigate claims. Or you're just a commie that doesn't know better. Both of them are bad for America.
Or maybe stop treating it like a religion that needs converts and only appeals to conspiracy theorists in the long run when people realize the lies they were fed about it.
There are much better kart games out there like Sonic All-Stars Racing Transformed, or Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled. Tuxkart does have a lot of user created tracks and you can make your own, so there is somewhat a draw for that.
Don't want either candidate. I'm simply saving my time from endless hours of mulling over which 'might' be less bad to vote in an election where 99.99%+ chance it wouldn't matter anyway.
VLC is heavily bloated with features you need a guide to use (may as well use a command line tool if you need to refer to a guide every time). It crashes (or did about 2 years ago) some of our Linux systems. MPV spanks the piss out of it.
