Gah it's given me an impossible task. My Roman numerals are the product of two primes so can't be changed and my chess move contains an element of the periodic table which, in combination with the Roman numerals exceeds the specified sum.

I'd rather not use a meta application just to send an SMS. I have WhatsApp but it's only for communication with overseas relatives.

I drink about 5 coffees a day, so the beans only stay in my hopper a little while. But yeah, my setup doesn't make fantastic coffee but I know how to make it not terrible - and it's a cost and convenience compromise I am happy with.

I think it's hard to maintain a critical mass in an anonymous social media/aggregator. You need enough fresh content to satisfy users, and you need enough users to provide that user driven content.

If you're only in the popular Lemmy channels then you probably wouldn't notice the users leaving, but the small communities are the first to go.

We got rid of our Getz at 12yo and 210k km - still working fine with only normal repairs for its age and km. Our i30 is now six years old with 80k km and no problems at all.
