Yeah I've seen these around since about 2020. Really nasty stuff and i have no clue how this hasnt been stopped by apple/google.
Anyone know of a way to detect if anyone on your network has been infected? I guess monitoring bandwidth usage? Could an IPS/IDS also catch something like this?

Storage is cheap whwn it comes to webhosting and 3 replicas is honestly not much when it comes to enterprise standards. I think cloud storage providers like backblaze keep something like 9 copies of data across different mediums

One thing I noticed about your wiki was that I don't think there was an explanation of how to get into the admin panel on first run. I got there by pressing Ctrl + c on Debian.
I've done this as well for a number of years (probably close to 5 at this point) and have only noticed one service that got hacked and my domain got leaked. No spam at all really, but I've stayed on top of unsubscribing to all marketing emails
