  • I think you should more clearly define how it would work and what features you want. Then, all the technical problems will soon surface and you will see that it is not as appealing anymore.

How do you log in? How do you reconcile people with the same name? Which instance are you representing? There are tons of difficult questions that make the idea impractical.

  • I have a bunch of mods that allow me to automate garbage separation. Weapons go one way, clothes go the other way, and the bodies are processed into meat and organs accordingly.

It isn't a RimWorld build until people around you ask "what the fuck is wrong with you?"

  • My first internal question in my head was "how the fuck have they been living with this???" Of course the first thing I did was to inform the boss that I have to take a snapshot backup, and that working directly on prod is ill-advised.

He said "sure kid, you know better than me." WAIT WHAT?!

When I came back to the university and submitted my report, my lab advisor was also like what the fuck.

Everyone was perplexed all the way to the department chair.

  • They charge me for plastic bags and when I say I need one they chastise me using their boilerplate line supplied by their corporate.

Then a loader truck came to unload things, with huge stack of things covered in styrofoam and wrapped in plastic sheets.

I wish I could repeat the line back. However, I am a known government employee in the area, so I decided to not fuck around and find out.

  • One per week per user for completely generated images.

Filtering an existing photo is okay, but using multiple filters to post multiple images is not. Only one post per distinct source image.

  • I have talked to a Japanese professor about this. It is theoretically possible to use GPT or similar generative models to create a novel tailored to a single person and sell it to them.

Of course, some editing might be necessary. The dangerous aspect we are thinking? What if we can make an entire visual novel and lock that person in a perpetual loop of self-gratification? Pay more to unlock more chapters? Pay even more to unlock a specific route? Pay even even more to add a new love interest?

It is completely messed up, but sometimes we have this kind of Black Mirror talk as a thought experiment.

  • They let the intern access the production db. The company is one of the biggest hosting and internet service companies in the country. The db was SQL but had no primary key.

I was the intern. I normalized it to 3NF as part of my internship project.
