I do. And as a smoker, I also support attempts to eliminate tobacco. It's a shit drug, only good at making the craving stop for a bit, and it's awful for your health and general quality of life.

For example Lorna Shore is currently touring Europe with Rivers of Nihil, Ingested and Distant. Most shows have been sold out for months, in nice venues, and yet I got tickets for the Paris show for 35€.

npm means it's a JS app running on a JS runtime, which is roughly similar to what python does. Electron runs on top of the runtime and indeed provides some kind of stripped down browser.

But yeah, in this case the app does use electron :)

I did use desktop mode to install emudeck. The install process is fully automated, but yeah you have to find your way around a unix FS to download and play roms I guess, but creating a folder and moving files around with dolphin is not that complicated, and he's a writer for a tech news site...

Yeah but you don't even need to see the underlying OS, just the familiar Steam client. I love Linux and use it on all my PCs and servers, but I never use desktop mode on the deck, no need to when all your games are on Steam.
