  • So you'll be banning people that post only negative news about trump?

  • I'm thinking mostly from a fantasy angle. I'll give some examples from the classes I play:

Warrior: lacks a spec focused on the defensive juggernaut fantasy that you infer from the class description. Hammer Spellbreaker kind of fits here but it's a bit of a stretch of what a spellbreaker should be thematically. Also lacking is a commander/captain support spec, maybe something built around shouts and/or banners.

Elementalist: why is the only spec not about going in and smacking people in melee tempest? And even then the best weapon is the sword. There's a reason newbs go in and try to make staff work as a ranged weapon.

    Engineer: turret spec please.

Mesmer: maybe mirage kind of fits the core mesmer fantasy, but I'm not sure if the ambushes fit there. The other specs don't really fit since it's mostly about doing away with your clones.

  • It's a shame their new format of yearly expansions doesn't really allow them to make new elite specializations. Many professions still feel unrealized in certain ways that new weapons can't fill.

  • There's enough time for the propagando machine to pump out a bunch of stories about how he has saved the palestinians, so it could work with the average voter's goldfish memory.

  • Literally any mobile game. Outside of that, you have your eastern gring MMOs like Black desert or Lost Ark, Fifa with it's ultimate team, and the general pay for skipping the western market has fallen into like you have on the newer Assassin's Creed games.

  • I feel this game won't hold its audience for long.

  • Regex Crossword

    Jump
  • Oh no, I might actually have to learn regex to pull this off

  • I find it funny how reddit manages to have active communities for towns, even ones in non-english speaking countries.

  • In Eve, you control your ship in a 3D view more akin to a strategy game. In SC you pilot it from the cockpit like say Elite Dangerous or other space sims.

  • Do you think they could finish the game if they wanted to?

  • It's one of the disadvantages of not having algorithms to push content up or down.

  • It's pretty weird the meme community got going but the more serious one didn't.

  • These random communities is something I wish picks up when the lemmyverse grows.

  • Like in general or regarding specific topics?

  • They don't deserve my money, they already harvest enough of my data.

  • Also has millions of people ready to correct your pronunciation of a word that is written completely randomly compared to how it's spoken.

  • It's scouting public or opinion and/or fabricating consent. Nothing new

  • I use an MMO mouse that seems to require the installation of a (admittedly pretty crappy) proprietary software to work on 2.4GHz mode, so that's the big one. I also have use a DS4 for some games. That's 90% of it.

  • Did you find you had a lot of trouble getting new peripherals to work? Things like wireless mouses/headsets?
