The crimes of the US empire dwarf anything you bring up on any "authoritarian" countries that are curiously always enemies of the US. No complaints on Myanmar here no sir!
It's about xpntrolling the narrative. Tiktok is one of the few (if not the only one) popular social media apps that doesn't censor everything that the US government decides. Just look at how much Palestine stuff goea around there compared to anywhere else.
Even if their cards offer better value than Nvidia at the low end, AMD still have an uphill battle to get people to switch. The brand recognition they have is insane, and for some reason people value dlss and frame gen very highly (wether it works well for their card and game or not).
The only thing you should realistic understand from the naming conventions is relative generations and which bracket of price/performance the part targets. Assuming more than that is just a mistake.
They know people like you are the majority, that's why, specially when it comes to low-end hardware, they up the price while selling you the same or worse performance just because the part is newer.
The point is just that how can a developer create an experience where you have the satisfaction of succeeding against overwhelming odds when you offer the easy mode where you win by pressing one button? I understand that people play games for a myriad of reasons, but one of those IS to put in effort.
Also it was just a mistake, I don't really care to upvote or downvote people unless it's something egregious or great. You really shouldn't care about it, especially since lemmy doesn't even keep track of it.
I'm sorry to hear that, and I certainly dread the day I won't be able to engage with the hobby the same way. But there are a million games that don't require fast reaction times and precise lightning fast inputs.
Guess I'm OOL. What non-competitive games have kernel anti-cheat?
