  • I can answer this this is what you want it means you already pushing your card to its max and is limited by the power limit of the card. So if your wattage matches your cards rating then you are good.

You may need to fix mango hub in order to see the wattage on your gpu.

NVIDIA has issues reporting correctly so you may need to check in the Nvidia control panel to get the wattage.

  • Just the extra mass of 13 times I know doesn't sounds like a lot but going from Earth to Jupiter's is about 318 times. Maybe instead of protostar we should use failed star since it has all the hydrogen and seller dust of that a star would used forces fuel.

  • It's basically it's large enough to be round like a planet but can't achieve orbital dominance like the big 8. So it looks like a planet but acts like an astroid. I think dwarf planet is a good term for them. Becase if they were a little bigger they would have all the same properties of a planet and are a lot closer to becoming a planet that than an asteroid.

Hell I think Jupiter shouldn't be a planet. Since it's really close to being a star. I think it should be classified as a protostar.

  • Yeah always be careful with that. I worked with a White guy that grew up in a Chinese family (adopted) . We were in a restaurant in the Asian part of Seattle. Well according to him they were talking bad about us the whole time. White this Black that for like the whole hour we were there. Then as we are getting the check he spoke in perfect Mandarin no accent or anything. You could have heard a pindrop and the look on their faces. It was epic.

  • This is a great post we should do a round up like this every few months. I know one of the hardest things was finding the right communities when so many were created and just became bot spam from reddit which did it a disservice since while it was from a good intent to create a bunch of content quickly. It stopped everyone from posting becase there was no engagement with OP. So it just looked like spam.

  • Ah KDE netbook when the world thought that was going to be an ongoing thing. It's a shame MS killed the concept. Linux powered Netbooks like the OLPC and the Eeepc were great for on the go when you just need more than your phone. I'm still glad OLPC is still around.

  • Workspaces is an AWS service that creates desktops that can be used via a workspace client or through the web browser like guacamole project. It's main feature is the data stays in AWS not on local hardware.

  • Well KDE used to stand for K Desktop Environment as a rif off of CDE Common Desktop Environment. They named kde 4 plasma when kde was overhauled during that release. Since kde does much more than just the DE they moved to just be KDE stands for KDE like how KFC no longer stands for Kentucky Fried Chicken.

  • Most likely using workspaces and the reason for it is to stop the very thing they are trying to do to keep data from directly leaking out of their network. If they had a Linux desktop workspace if they opened the ssh port on the workspace Eni you could do that but that would send up all kinds of security alerts.
