  • Shit. Now I can't recall if I double space or not. I'm sure I double spaced back when I studied things just for page length.

How long has this been going on?

Lol, it took me a minute to realize I am currently providing myself with the data I wanted. And it looks like my (semi)professional emails are about 50/50, depending if I'm responding.

Is it commonplace to single space after a full stop these days? Thanks!!

Also: that grandpa and his collection are awesome! It's inspiring - not that I'd travel my country (U.S.) to the same extent. Perhaps my state, but there isn't a huge amount of variation, nor do I have the desire to visit some of the areas.

I'm not skilled at chess, but this was fun to think about. If you were truly inviting speculation, that is-

Assuming the game goes til the white kings are dealt with or all black pawns are dead - white wins easily.

If the winning condition was to capture any singular king, we might have a thrilling match

  • Good job on sharing a contrasting view to the top comment. Not saying you're wrong - I don't know. But I share the aforementioned comment - appreciate this as a tragedy first and possibly wait for clearer details before injecting politics into it.

  • Good. I recall deferring a few payments over a decade ago and they were pretty adamant about telling me the deferred interest would be added to the principal/capital(?). Definitely not my field of expertise.

It's all such a shit show. I live near a state university town and I have a hard time arguing for student loan relief. They paid theirs off... I feel like it's not about us or any individual. At some level, a large part of our tax base is being bled dry.

    Argh. Cheers, yo
