I've heard a claim going around that McDonald's cheese is formulated to have a distinctive flavor so people will crave McDonald's cheese specifically. I don't have any source, so I'd say that's more of an urban legend than an established fact, but you can find articles like this one that give less sinister sounding reasons for why their cheese has such a distinctive flavor:

A kilogram? I struggle to get a few grams down! And I think anyone who managed to eat that much would end up puking it all out in short order. It sounds like a very expensive way to waste a lot of perfectly good drugs.

Preventing all violence was never the goal, because everyone understands there will always be some violence. But making sure people aren't struggling to survive can greatly reduce the amount of violence happening.

What if I told you bookmarks and tabs have a lot of overlapping use cases, and people prefer one or another because they have different workflows, or just as a matter of personal preference?

We don't. That's just the normal way most people pronounce numbers with a decimal point. The big exception is prices: $1.32 is often pronounced "one thirty two".
