    1. It’s 8 apparently
    2. 5 years is as long as most phones that I used last so there would be no point to buy it
  • That would be UBI and that’s seen as an improvement by a lot of people so why stand in the way of that? Robots do the work, people get a budget they can spend on that work while they don’t have to do it.

  • These are easily avoidable problems. There are always reputable authors on topics and why would a self published foraging book by some random person be better than an AI one? You buy books written by experts, especially when it’s about life or death.

  • Who buys the stuff if everyone is replaced?

  • No effort is insignificant. You never know if a local population of something is depending on the last few host plants in your area and you are increasing their chances by a lot if that is the case.

  • UK “children” are just future UK “people” so how can they be cool?

  • I don’t think that’s worse than soda at all, probably healthier because there’s no additives

  • Drink a lot. I personally always like tea brewed with a few thin slices of ginger. It’s refreshing and makes me feel better.

  • Red Bull (loved their cola) and War Thunder. One has a Nazi Boss and the other is just shitty to its players.

  • I’d say reading is back to normal after 2-3 days tops for most people.

  • Real estate and Stocks/ETF to park it. Get my family nicely set up. Then build an under the radar luxurious home with good research equipment so I can do science without all the hassle in academia. Also some charity living projects for the poor in my area.

  • It doesn’t compress video more on mobile devices, that’s all I need to know. When I connect an iPad or iPhone to the home cinema setup, the compression is much worse then on an old laptop.

  • I don’t know about general maps but any footpaths or off-road stuff is really good there and better than on Google or Apple Maps.

  • I’ve recently discovered Organic Maps that allows offline viewing of open street maps. I’ve been using it since maps.me has completely gone down the drain with premium subscriptions and paid download limits (for the same open street maps data lol).

  • That does not make sense at all if you consider the number one priority of any company: money. If they make just as much or even more when people work more efficiently they would not care.

  • I don’t think that was the intention.

  • I have them on, I think it’s quite annoying if there’s something urgent and you can’t tell if the text got read or not.
